Collaboration:

 

The Centre actively encourages collaboration with other dementia researchers and dementia research institutions.

 

Professor Jenny Abbey is an Honorary Senior Research Fellow with the Centre. Other Research Associates include Dr Jenn Scott and Dr Matthew Summers (School of Psychology UTAS), Professor Roger Fay (School of Architecture UTAS), Dr Toby Croft (neuro-psychologist DHHS Tas), Dr Jane Tolman (Director of Aged Care Dept RHH), Associate Professor Paul Turner (School of Information Systems UTAS) and Associate Professor Fran McInerney (Australian Catholic University, Melbourne).

 

There are also substantial links to other dementia researchers in the Menzies Research Institute (Associate Professor Adrian West, Dr Roger Chung, Professor David Small and Dr Emily Hansen). The centre also has an affiliation with the Dementia Collaborative Research Centre at the University of New South Wales through the DCRC's  Environment and Assistive Technology node.

 

International collaborative partnerships have been established with the National Centre of Medial Research, Montpellier France and the Dementia Services Development Centre, University of Stirling UK.
