Strategic Intervention Tool for Dementia

A Strategic Intervention Tool for dementia (the SIT Project)

Work has begun on this important project which involves researchers and aged care allied health, nursing and medical staff from the Royal Hobart Hospital. The overall aim of the SIT Project is to improve the sharing of dementia care data in Tasmania and thereby assist dementia research and better management of dementia care services. A prototype of a data collection tool has been developed and trialled in two wards of the RHH. Analyses of the results of the pilot are underway.

Planning for the next stages of the project to support research and healthcare workers is occurring.
