Menzies is delighted to announce that Dr Costan Magnussen has been awarded the 2012 Vice-Chancellor's Award for Research Excellence.

This award recognises Dr Magnussen's outstanding research performance as an early career researcher.

The awards were presented at the Celebration of Excellency Awards Ceremony in Hobart on 27 September 2012.

Dr Magnussen's work focuses on the paediatric origin of adult cardiometabolic disease using data from an international consortium of population-based prospective cohort studies known as the International Childhood Cardiovascular Cohort (i3C) Consortium.

We congratulate Dr Magnussen on this exceptional achievement.
