The Tasmanian MS Genes & Prevalence Study (MSPG)
This study has collected data on over 500 people with MS in Tasmania and in particular greater than 98 per cent of all MS cases in Southern Tasmania. DNA collected from these participants was used in Project 3. This project has allowed us to measure the prevalence and incidence of MS in Southern Tasmania and compare this to three previous studies in the same area over the last 50 years to develop an understanding of the epidemiology of MS.
