A Gift beyond a lifetime

Throughout our lives, we all have the ability to support and care for others. Whether the gift is small or large and for family and friends, colleagues at work or those in desperate need, this simple gesture may have an important impact on another's world.

Even beyond our lifetime, we can still make a gift that can change lives. By leaving a donation in your Will you make a gift that will always be remembered and one that contributes to better health for future generations.

Leaving a gift in your Will is a significant way you can support research at the Menzies Research Institute.

Share your vision

Advising us of your decision to make a gift to the Institute in your Will greatly assists us in planning for the future. It also provides us with an opportunity to discuss with you the area of research you would like to support. We would of course also like to acknowledge your generosity in some way, but understand and respect any wish for anonymity.

"Society for the Future"

In 2007 we launched a bequest program, the Menzies Research Institute Society for the Future, with hope that many supporters will name the Institute in their Wills after they have included their family members and friends.

When you sit down to write your Will or update your estate plan, please consider the future of medical research in Tasmania with a bequest for the Menzies Research Institute.

One hundred per cent of a bequest gift made to the Menzies Research Institute is directed towards our research projects, for example the costs of carrying out data collection and analysis, salaries for our researchers and the purchase of vital equipment and laboratory supplies.
