Hosmer-Lemeshow Course 2020: Logistic regression and survival analysis in epidemiological research
Save the date in 2020 for this short course which will feature Professor David Hosmer (University of Vermont), Professor Stan Lemeshow (Ohio State University), international luminaries in biostatistics whose text Applied Logistic Regression has been cited 53,865 times.
This five-day intensive course provides theoretical and practical training for epidemiologists and professionals of related disciplines in statistical modelling, with particular emphasis on logistic regression and survival analysis.
The increasingly popular logistic regression and Cox proportional hazards models have become standard methods world-wide for regression analysis in the health sciences.
The course incorporates lecture and computer workshops and is suitable for those with some training and experience in epidemiology and/or biostatistics.
